A Day With Deer

This morning the mother of the twins dropped her babies in our backyard. They stayed in our bushes and crouched in the grass all day, and just now, at 7:00, the mother showed back up. I named her Faith, and because I can't tell them apart, Faith's babies are named Fuzzy and Fuzzy. Also, as a bonus (the first), when Faith got back my parents and I saw Fuzzy and Fuzzy nurse! After that, we went outside to see the two bucks, which we think are Faith's last twins! Outside we got pictures of all five deer together! By the way, the bucks are both called DJ. I love this yard!

Little Bad Nibblers

We've had some nibblers on our tower. The two rabbits I call Fuzzy (both are called Fuzzy) have been nibbling our cucumber plant leaves. After our plant was HEALTHY again, along came the twins, which snapped the plant in half! Luckily, we still have half a plant, but now the cucumber vines are attacking our tomato plants!

Tomatoes and More Tomatoes

We have a tower garden in our backyard. The plants are on a tower instead of in the ground! Well, when we got back from our trip a few weeks ago, our water ran out and the lettuces and green beans (also the strawberries :(!) died. We planted more lettuce and did our third and forth attempts on the Spinach and Water melon. The plants that did survive were the Tomatoes (we have 20-50 tomatoes!), which I planted, the Cucumber, (we've gotten 5 or 6), the tiny cantaloupe (it's a baby), a lettuce, and the Zucchini plant, which makes the best Zucchini Bread!

The Twins

A few days ago I saw a mother doe with her twins! Two days later, here they are hiding in our rose bushes while their mother eats! The twins are practically touching the house! A deer just walked across the yard. It might be the mom!
